At least 126 people fell sick because of food poisoning in Tripura on Tuesday and were admitted to two government hospitals, officials said.   “The patients included women and children and were admitted to government hospitals in Kanchanpur and Dharmanagar in northern
Tripura on Tuesday night. They fell ill after eating prasad after a puja at Dasda village,” chief medical officer Dilip Das said. The village is about 215 km north of Agartala.

Sickness virus in River Otter sparks warning not to swim or paddle in rivers - News - Exmouth Journal

Tests have shown that they were infected with Norovirus, which is a highly infectious form of gastroenteritis.
Signs advising the public not to bathe or paddle in the river have today (Friday) been put up near the mouth of the River Otter at the Lime Kiln carpark.

A total of 9,206 outbreaks were reported, including 6,355 with a known cause. Noroviruses were the confirmed or suspected cause in 2,922 (46%) of those outbreaks, the report says. Lab confirmation was achieved in 58% of the 2,922.
